Kincaid Lake State Park has a 9-hole course, part of the Kentucky State Parks Golf Trail. Kincaid Lake State Park encompasses 850 acres. Kincaid Lake State Park is located in Falmouth, Kentucky Kingdom Come State Park is a nature preserve and the states highest park. Kingdom Come State Park protects Kentucky's third-largest colony of the federally endangered Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis). Line Fork Cave, located in the preserve, is the winter roost for more than 3,000 bats. Kingdom Come State Park is located in Cumberland, KY near the Kentucky-Virginia border. Mineral Mound State Park is located in Eddyville, Kentucky My Old Kentucky Home State Park consists of Federal Hill, a former plantation owned by the Rowan family. A visit to the georgian-style mansion and formal gardens in 1852 is said to have inspired Stephen Foster to write his famous song, My Old Kentucky Home. My Old Kentucky Home State Park is located in Bardstown, Kentucky Nolin Lake State Park is a recreational park located near Mamonth Cave. Old Fort Harrod State Park is situated on land orginally colonized by Captain James Harrod in 1774. Old Fort Harrod State Park is reconstructed near the site of the original fort, and commemorates the old fort pioneer settlement. Old Fort Harrod State Park is located in Harrodsburg, Kentucky Paintsville Lake State Park gleams like a jewel in the crown of mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Yatesville Lake State Park is noted for the good bluegill fishing. Yatesville Lake State Park is a 2300-acre impoundment of the Big Sandy River and is the largest lake in eastern Kentucky.
